Melkbosstrand High School has been named one of the top ten schools in the Metro North Education District with its results in the 2019 Grade 9 Systemic Tests. The school was praised for excellent achievements in Languages and Mathematics. This is the second award of its calibre achieved by the school this year. The school was also recognised as one of the top ten schools in the district with its 2019 National Senior Certificate exam results.
